I started freelancing as a virtual assistant offering an array of services - blog copywriting, virtual administrative support, social media management, and website design. But, I didn’t have a clear picture of who I wanted to serve or how I would serve them.
Which is why less than 6 months in, I was on the verge of giving it all up.
I was burnt out, stressed, losing sleep, unfulfilled, and beginning to dread my work. Even with a full client load, I was barely making $1500/mo.
Then, I discovered the power of podcasts. A new world of possibilities opened up! As an avid listener, I decided to learn everything I could and made it my singular focus. By committing to getting the training I needed and following expert advice, I got clarity on who I’m meant to serve, and now I’m able to show up for them like never before. I have renewed excitement because I’ve finally found the thing that I love!

Helping fellow mompreneurs is my passion. I’m a Podcast Manager, Podcast Host, consultant, and strategist, as well as a wife and mom of two precious little ones.
That’s who I am now, but it’s not where I started. That story begins in June 2020, when I was on maternity leave with my first baby and pursuing a Masters in Communication Disorders at the same time. While I was on leave, the preschool I oversaw closed permanently due to the pandemic. In what should have been one of the happiest times in my life, I suddenly found myself without a job, leaving my family missing a large chunk of our monthly income. Even with a supportive husband and savings to bolster us for a little while, we were forced to face the unknown, wondering, ‘what’s next?’
Although the income loss was a major hit, and we were walking in uncertainty, I found so much joy in being able to stay home with my sweet boy and witness all of his first moments.
When it was time to rejoin the workforce, I wasn’t sure what to do. My family had become my number one priority. I knew I wanted the freedom to set my hours and be my own boss to keep it that way.
In my heart, I dreaded the idea of going back to a traditional 9-5. Being home showed me exactly what I was missing out on, and I was determined not to give it up.
