Listen to today’s episode on Podcast Strategy for Business Owners: Is the Evergreen Marketing Accelerator Right for You?
When you are podcasting for your business, how you approach podcasting looks different from influencer and hobby podcasters. Your focus and goals are vastly different, which means you can’t use the same strategies as someone seeking podcast sponsorships and brand deals. This is exactly why I created the Evergreen Marketing Accelerator. The core focus is on podcast strategy for business owners. In this episode, I’m answering some FAQs about the Accelerator. If you’ve been on the fence about joining the Accelerator, this episode is for you. Tomorrow, April 1, 2026, is the last day to join before the doors close for 6 months and to grab the Pinterest profile set-up bonus.
Main Topics Covered in this Episode:

Podcast Strategy for Business Owners FAQs: Is the Evergreen Marketing Accelerator Right for You?
What is the Evergreen Marketing Accelerator? Is it a group program?
The Accelerator is not a group program; it’s 3 months of 1:1 support to build and implement a podcast strategy that consistently brings in new leads. However, it does include an optional community aspect so you can connect with the other women I’m supporting inside the program.
You hire me to be your podcast strategist and coach for 3 months. We partner together to build a podcast strategy that supports your business growth. You learn what you need to do to grow your podcast audience with quality leads, how to connect and build trust with your audience through your podcast content, and how to drive them to your offers so that they actually convert. This includes learning podcast SEO for visibility and lead generation, what metrics to track and how to interpret them, what type of content to create for those new to your world, building trust, and making sales, and more.
Is Owning a Podcast Profitable?
Podcasting can be profitable for online business owners. If you want your podcast to be profitable, you need a podcast strategy for business owners. How business owners approach podcasting looks vastly different from podcasters seeking sponsorships and brand deals.
Inside the Evergreen Marketing Accelerator, I teach you the strategies you need to attract ready to invest clients to your podcast, nurture them, and convert them into your offers.
Are Pinterest and SEO Enough for Marketing My Podcast, or Do I Need to Promote My Episodes on Social Media Too?
SEO is one of the best ways to market your podcast. The reason why is that you make it easy for the people who are looking for your type of content and expertise to find you.
People who search Google and the podcast listening apps are usually problem aware, meaning that they know they have a problem, have a general idea of what the problem is, and are ready to get support. These are the people who you want to find your podcast because they are ready to invest in your support, and it becomes a yes once trust has been built, and they know for a fact that your offer is what they need.
Pinterest is another SEO based platform, so as long as you are linking to evergreen content, it will continue to bring in new leads weeks, months, and even years after you publish your pins.
While I do teach you in the Accelerator how to leverage Threads, email marketing, and collaborations to grow your podcast audience, those platforms aren’t required for you to gain new listeners.
I don’t teach you how to market your podcast on Instagram because it isn’t the best option for gaining new listeners.
How Much Do Podcasts with 10,000 Listeners Make?
How much someone with 10,000 listeners makes depends on a few factors. One, how are they monetizing their podcast? Are they getting sponsorships, brand deals, subscriptions, or are they selling their own services and products? According to Speechify Studio, podcasts that get 10,000 downloads per episode make between $180 and $500 per episode.
When you are a business owner with a podcast, what you make will be determined by the price of your services and products. When you have an effective podcast strategy that attracts potential clients who are ready to invest in support, you don’t need to hit 10,000 downloads per episode before you make your first sale. More downloads don’t necessarily translate into more sales. Your focus is on creating content that attracts people who want and need your expertise.
What if I’m Not Sure if the Accelerator is Right for Me?
The Accelerator is for women entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least 2 years, know podcasting is their platform (i.e., you have either guested on podcasts or already have a podcast), are clear about their messaging and who they serve, and have a validated offer. This program is not for beginner business owners.
The whole point of adding a podcast to your business is to amplify what you are already doing well and reach more of your ideal clients.
I also created this for the woman in business who is ready to add an evergreen marketing platform to her marketing and sales strategy so she can rely less on social media for leads and clients.
I created it for the woman who has experienced a major life transition that forced her to see that how she’s been marketing her business no longer fits her real life. She’s ready for an evergreen marketing platform that keeps working for her business even when she has to step back from visibility and marketing because life demands more of her time and energy.
