Hey, Mama! If you’ve ever launched a new offer or have an offer that you live launch, I’m sure you’ve wondered how to increase the conversion rate for your next launch. There’s so much advice around launching that, at times, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out what to focus on and what advice to implement. In today’s episode, I’m sharing two mistakes I made in the early days of launching new offers and why skipping these two important steps in launching can keep you from hitting your launch goals.
While there’s a lot of advice on how to increase your conversion rate for future launches, there are two aspects of launching that aren’t talked about enough. Doing market research and priming your audience for a launch are two aspects of launching you don’t want to skip. When you take the time to do both, you will yield better launch results. Keep reading to learn more about market research and priming your audience as pre-launch strategies to boost your launch results.
You may have been told that your messaging needs to be clear in order for you to see your audience convert into your paid offers. While this is true, what does it actually mean to have “clear messaging”? Clear messaging means your message shared through your content resonates with your ideal client. In order to create content that resonates with your ideal client, you have to use the language they are using to describe their pain points, their wants, their goals, and the transformation they desire. One way to capture that language is through market research.
When you sit down and talk to your ideal client about the problem you can help them with, you’re able to understand them so much better. Not only do you capture the exact verbiage they are using, but you’re also able to confirm whether or not your offer is what they actually want. In Life in Seasons 1:1 Coaching, I support my clients with completing market research to validate their offers and capture the language their ideal clients are using. We are then able to take that language and incorporate it into their content and sales page. This is a really effective strategy because you can guarantee that your messaging is clear.
The second solution to how to increase the conversion rate for your next launch is to prime your audience at least a month before your launch. This is one step that is often skipped. Priming your audience means preparing them for what’s to come. When you prime your audience, you can hint at what is coming by educating them on what they need to know related to your offer. You can also direct them to a waitlist or pre-sale the offer. Priming your audience is important because it alerts them to what’s coming, and it allows you to see who in your audience is actually interested in your offer.
You don’t have to wonder how to increase the conversion rate for your next launch. Instead, incorporate a pre-launch phase into your launch plan. The pre-launch phase will allow you to confirm if your community is interested in your offer. It will also allow you to fill up your waitlist or sell out your offer by pre-selling it.
Leveraging market research and priming your audience are the ultimate solutions to how to increase the conversion rate for your next launch. These two strategies combined will help you hit your launch goals. You’ll be able to validate your offer, have clear messaging, and know who your warmest leads are.
