Ready to Stop Trading Time for Money? 3 Shifts You Can Make When You’ve Reached Max Capacity with 1:1 Clients

Whether you’re a coach or a service provider, you will reach a point where you are trading time for money. This happens when you reach or exceed your max capacity with 1:1 clients. If you continue on this path, you will burn out. There are three shifts you can make to help you get off the trading time for money roller coaster.

3 Shifts You Can Make in Your Business to Stop Trading Time for Money

Increase Your Prices

When you are fully booked out but still not hitting your income goals, it’s time to consider increasing your prices. Before you increase your prices, there are a few things you must consider in order to start signing clients at a higher price point:

  • How can you elevate your messaging and your marketing strategy to attract clients who are ready to invest at a higher price point? Calling in a new level of clientele will require you to shift your messaging and marketing approach. If not, you will attract clients who aren’t in a position to invest and will be met with price objections.
  • How can you elevate your offer and overall client experience? Increasing your prices means client expectations will be higher. Think about how you can create even more of a VIP client experience so that your offer matches the investment.
  • Do you believe that your offer or services are worth this higher investment? If you don’t believe your services are worth the price, you will not confidently sell your offer. Not believing in your offer price will impact how you show up to sell.

Turn Your Done for You Offers into Done with You or Do It Yourself Offers

In order to stop trading time for money, you have to diversify your offers in a way that doesn’t require more of your time and energy. One way to do that is to take your signature done for you offers and create a done with you or do it yourself offer.

Create a One to Many Offer

Serving more than one person at once can help you stop trading time for money. You can take your signature offer and restructure it to support more people in a group program or a membership. A one to many format allows you to serve more people without sacrificing more of your time and energy.

Trading time for money doesn’t have to be your reality as a coach or a service provider. Increasing your prices as you elevate your offers and diversifying your offers keeps you from hitting burnout.
