These open-ended questions help you capture the exact language your ideal clients are using to describe their problems, wants, desires, and transformations they ultimately want.

If your messaging is confusing or doesn’t resonate with your ideal clients, then you won’t see conversions. Client J came to me wanting to launch a group program for the moms in her community. Before launching the program, I encouraged her to do market research. She created a market research survey using open-ended questions. Based on the responses she received:

  • She confirmed that the program she was planning was exactly what her community wanted
  • She confirmed that the language she was using to describe her ideal client’s wants, needs, and pain points was accurate
  • She validated her offer
  • She received a confidence boost knowing that she heard her community loud and clear and was creating a way to support them
