Visibility Played a Major Role in My Membership Launch
Two months before the open cart period, I prioritized my visibility. I spoke at three virtual summits and chose signature topics that positioned me as the go to person for building a business off social media. The combination of these three summits resulted in almost 200 new leads. Being intentional in my visibility allowed me to actively grow my audience with the right people in preparation for my membership launch.
Messaging and Listening to Your Community Matters
At the start of 2024, I conducted a market research survey to learn more about my community’s current needs. I received 17 responses, and they all said the same thing: they were burnt out on social media and tired of relying on it to build their businesses. This prompted me to create an offer that would support them with their greatest need. Also, I made sure to infuse the language they used in the market research surveys into my messaging.
You Need to Know Your Numbers
I knew my conversion rate for hosting live events and challenges to funnel into new offers. Based on that information, I was able to know how many people needed to register for my free masterclass to reach my membership launch goals. By knowing these numbers, I knew exactly what I needed to focus on leading up to the live masterclass.
Collaborations are Key
Have you ever noticed that right before a launch, many of the big names in the online space are everywhere? You see them speaking at events, guesting on podcasts, and more. They are leveraging collaborations for visibility. I also did this leading up to the open cart period. To help me reach my goal number for the masterclass, I leveraged email swaps to attract my ideal clients. Not only did I exceed my goal number for the masterclass, I also exceeded my membership launch goal.
